Chris graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physical Geography from Sacramento State University. During his last year at the university, Chris was hired as an intern at a nearby water district where he gained valuable skills and knowledge and also loved working with the community. Since then, Chris has worked in the water conservation industry for ten years working at several water districts, cities, and special districts from San Diego County to Monterey County to Alameda County and now in Sacramento County. He has gained a diverse set of valuable skills and knowledge in the field of water conservation, soil management, and irrigation management that he will bring to Sloughhouse RCD. Building healthy soils, irrigating efficiently, and managing the landscape appropriately has never been as important as it is now. Chris is passionate about building relationships within our community and can't wait to build further relationships with farmers, ranchers, and community members.
